As an independent nonprofit, our members are at the heart of everything we do. And your membership puts history directly in your hands!
As a member, you’ll enjoy benefits including:
- Exclusive monthly tours of the 1886 Jailhouse
- Free and discounted research services
- Early access to specialty events and programs
A Note to Current Members...
As an active member, we are excited to offer you increased access to historic sites! Here's how your existing membership is transferred into the new tiers:
- Senior & Individual Members are now 'Heritage Family Members'
- Family Fun Members are now 'Preservation Partner Members'
- Museum Patron & Community Supporter Members are now 'Legacy Advocate Members'
Invoice payments and mailed checks written for previous membership tier prices will be accepted until 1/31/26.
- Your membership renewal date remains the same.
- Near the renewal date, you will receive an email to renew your membership at the new tier.
- All memberships can be updated at any time.
